Some more work ahead

Though beta2 seems to work for most of you, there are still people suffering from some rundll32 related problems. So far we still haven’t been able to reproduce the described problem, but hopefully we will be able to do so.
There are some other issues we want to address in the upcoming release, being:
->  Version information in the app - Currently not available and it would definitely help you to identify which version of VG you’re using
->  Liability waiver at app startup - Apparently it is deemed a little aggressive and annoying, so we might remove it altogether or make it a onetime only thing
->  Restore points - Some people, especially those using beta1, had some “Vista kind of like died on me, now what?” moments, so we’re considering to add a ‘Create Restore Point before playing with VG’ option
You might also have noticed a slight, erm, “change” in the look and feel of our site. WordPress released an update and our skin is not yet compatible with this update. Currently we’re waiting for our friends at K2 to release their new WordPress 2.5 compatible skin. Please bear with us as that release is due in the near future.

I tried beta 2 and it didn’t work. It not only remove a lot of option like the appearence and msconfig and opening programs but also removed my restore points! What happened?

    Hi there!

Like diego, I have I have Version 6.2 Build 6001: Service Pack 1, v.667..there isn’t a suitable way to apply custom visual styles as yet, they either do nothing (patching uxtheme) or cause multiple dwm errors that causes your screen to flash black every so often (tuneup styler).

Attempting to launch the vistaglazz install results in an instant application error, citing the faulting module as the windows kernel.

So no, i do not believe it works for server 2008 yet :(

I think the problem with the rundll32 problem is windows vista home basic. I think that should recreate the problem for you guys.
