RunDll32 errors after VistaGlazz beta 2

We’ve received numerous reports on RunDll32 errors after patching your system with VistaGlazz beta 2. We are looking into the problem, until then we advice (the brave among you) to await beta 3 or our next well tested release version of VistaGlazz.

Read the forum and comments in the VistaGlazz beta 2 post for more information. This issue seems to occur on SP1 systems only.

Update 2008/05/10:
We like to note that VistaGlazz isn’t compatible with Vista Home Basic. Microsoft has deliberately removed Aero from Vista Home Basic, and we would violate probably 10 pages of Terms of Use if we were to make it Vista Home Basic compatible.

Also make sure that you are using Beta 2. Unfortunately the link on our download page linked to Beta 1. Beta 2 should fix any errors caused to you by Beta 1 after patching.

    I did not had problems using beta 2, but it fails with vista home premium sp1 and not so with home basic sp1.

    Anyway, great work!. I’ll wait for the beta 3 or a final release.

    Thanks for the great work, we all know its not that easy to create something like this, well for me anyway and its a little thing that takes up a lot of your time.

    Well i did had some Rundll32 problems,Its annoying because most app just seem to stop working..I got Win vista SP1 basic.Nevertheless,this is a great product.I’m looking foward to the rundll32 fix.

    It there a way to change the color of the font (http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/5910/Jing/2008-05-10_1728.png)? I like it Black like when its not maximazied

    Unfortunately our program does not change the color of the title bar. You might want to check out http://www.aeroxp.org (Forums => Customization Square) for information on changing your visual style.

    i have vista ultimate sp1
    for me 1.0 didn’t work (haha, who’d know? o,o).
    and later on i had masses of run.dl-errors until i overwhrote the systemfiles by myself (i found the link somewhere here..).
    then i patched again and voilà it works fine with beta2 ^^

    yea .. that error still occurs and i can no longer run firefox 3.0b5 =\

    Thank you for your hard work. On my Asus Laptop with Windows Vista Business SP1 32bit VistaGlazz work perfectly. Only it seems that program from start to appear first screen run slowly.
