The new VistaGlazz supports the KB971029 update, but also enables style customization for Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7 (both 32 and 64 bit)!
You can install VistaGlazz 2.0 over your old VistaGlazz installation, without unpatching first.

WTF MATE???
Why there’s no more support for home basic editions?; on previous versions we had that kind of suppport. Please do something about home basic support. I want different visual styles on my WinSeven.
By the way, good job, works great on home premium editions.

@Rodrigo, Jedqx: the system patch IS supported for basic editions. The style patch however isn’t. So your free to use custom styles on the basic editions. Because of the lack of Windows Aero we don’t support the style patch on basic editions.

Hi, well, I was wondering if the themes that were used on vista would work on Seven too..cause I tried and they don’t. Personal glitch or it’s not possible yet?
@Ink: Unfortunately a lot of Windows Vista themes (if not all) won’t work on Windows 7, there have been small changes to the msstyles file structure.

Hey, how do you get the patch for vista glazz? My program says its not avalible
-It says ” Windows Aero is activated” ,i have Windows XP SP3 and what kind of aero should i have???

For me it sais : There is no aero style patch available for your Windows version. So I can´t use any themes on my system (Windows 7 64bit) .Would be cool when you fix this problem

Hey guys,
In Windows 7, when you hit F11 to go to full-screen in any IE or explorer window, the border still becomes black. I’m guessing this is a mistake they made during development or a left over from the Vista days.
Is there any way VistaGlazz can address this? It really does look awful and it would be nice to change

i hav installed vistaglazz 2.0 and the files have been patched but the styler doesnot appears

Thats because there is no patch avalible.
Windows 7 already has the full screen glass so theres nothing to patch
