Last weekend we had some problems with the server that hosts the CodeGazer website and downloads. All problems should have been resolved now. The site, downloads and forum are fully operational again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
No news on VistaGlazz yet, we’re trying to get it released as soon as possible, but we have to ask for a bit more of your patience.
We are pleased to announce the release of PixelCryptor 1.2! The new version now codes in record time and uses much less memory than its predecessor. For a complete overview of all changes, please visit the download page. Be aware that the version currently offered on Download.com is still 1.1, since the new version is yet to be processed by them. Version 1.2 can be downloaded directly from our site using this link.
We are working hard on some small bug fixes and features to make VistaGlazz 1.1 more stable and easier to use. After that we have to fix our new installer and we’re ready to release. Expect the new (full) version soon.
Update 2008-09-17
VistaGlazz is currently in the approval process of a third party. We can release it as soon as it is approved. We’ll keep you up to date.
Not only VistaGlazz is getting an update, PixelCryptor as well! The new version is blazing fast and memory management is greatly improved. Prepare for version 1.2.
Yvo was away on holiday and I have been busy working on a major software release at work. Yvo will be back somewhere this morning and my software was released yesterday. What does this all mean? Well, we’ll be here to finally reply to some forum posts and blog comments. I’m leaving in a few minutes on a small family trip, but will be back in the afternoon, Yvo might want to grab some sleep first (he’s been flying through the night), but you can expect to see some replies today.
Yvo is currently working, or rather, he was before he left, on the setup of the new VistaGlazz. I’ll be working on the problems some of you guys apparently had.
Good, it is still Saturday. We’ve modified some code and everything seems to work like it should. Beta3 will be able to fix 32bit SP1 systems that have been patched with VistaGlazz 1. VistaGlazz should identify your system as “patchable” (as opposed to “original” for untouched systems). If VistaGlazz identifies your system as corrupt or if you encounter any other problem, please let us know.
We do not have a solution for 64bit SP1 systems that are patched with VistaGlazz 1 yet, since that problem is a little bit more complex.
Download VistaGlazz SP1 beta3 now!
(Remember download it to disk first, do not run it from your browser)
