I went through the forums and noticed
a post by UK.Intel regarding the text color and glow in full screen glass mode. How I missed that post we might never know, but I decided to add it to VistaGlazz two weeks ago to see if it would work. It didn’t. For some reason the addresses seemed to be off by a few bytes, not sure why. Anyway, using the screen shots I was able to retrieve the correct addresses and the patch works marvelously on my Vista x64 SP2 system and on my virtual Vista32 SP1. UK.Intel: Thank you for your post!
Meanwhile Yvo improved the diagnostic screen by adding auto repair functionality to fix the most common of VG related problems. He also managed to fix some minor general UI and reboot screen glitches.

Next week we’re both going on holiday, so we decided on releasing PixelCryptor 1.1 this week. The list of improvements can be found at the bottom of the PixelCryptor download page. We used NSIS to create the installer and since we’re pretty much new at this platform, there is a small chance you’ll encounter a bug during install or uninstall. We have tested the installer thoroughly, but please let us know if you stumble upon a bug, so we might fix it in the next installer.
Our download.com mirror is offline for a few days, because it takes them some time to process the new version. You can use our CodeGazer mirror for your convenience.
Enjoy and we look forward to your feedback.
Last week we started coding the 1.1 release of PixelCryptor.
After some minor discussions on how to plan our software development, we decided to use simple plannings. The next planned release of PixelCryptor is saturday November 10th.
We are still not sure whether we’ll be able to add the “Create a package which can be decrypted without having PixelCryptor installed”-option in the next release, this will depend on the amount of time we will be able to spend within the deadline.
The most important update will be the support of file and folder attributes and the removal of the two second wait at the beginning of a packing process. There will also be some small user experience improvements, which should make it a little bit easier to create packages.
Update 2007-11-09: The new version is ready, we are creating the setup bundle. We expect it to be available on the website within a few weeks. We are migrating to a new installer.
