If you’ve installed VistaGlazz you’ll find a help option in your Start Menu. The help file contains a lot of information on how to patch your system and what to do might something go wrong. Please read the help file first.

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 and 2
VistaGlazz supports Service Pack 1, Service Pack 2 is not supported yet. We’ll try to support Service Pack 2 as soon as it’s officially released by Microsoft.

DreamScene is not running when my Windows are maximized
Windows Vista disables the DreamScene functionality when a window is maximized. VistaGlazz doesn’t patch DreamScene. We might add it to the next version.

I can’t get transparency to work
Check the system requirements page that you have the necessary hardware and OS for VistaGlazz. We don’t support Windows Vista Home Basic and systems that are unable to run Windows Aero because the don’t have DX9 hardware.

We’ve heard that some users couldn’t get transparency to work because of iTunes. Some versions of iTunes turn off Aero transparency. Please upgrade to the latest version of iTunes.
